This piece speaks to the cyclical nature of "putting yourself out there" in the context of dating. From dreaming of the romance she reads about (the character sitting on the novel), to messaging on apps (the character sitting on the phone), to refocusing on platonic love (the character sitting on the playing card) [and back around], this artist is grounded by a desire to resist cynicism at all costs.

The print "mounted" is pasted to a 12x16" wooden panel and ready to hang. If you desire, a float frame can be added for style and protection.
The print "unmounted" measures 16x20", including 2" paper borders and traditional editioning along the bottom edge of the image. It can be custom-framed or placed in an off-the-shelf frame. Warm coloured mouldings would be best: gold or reddish-brown. As always, match the mat to the colour of the paper (off-white).
